SPRING SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS

…and a busy season for HBEF Programs! Our Educator of the Year and Scholar Squad Programs bring much-deserved honor and recognition for excellence among our teachers, staff and students. Also this Spring, teachers may apply to our Teacher Grant Program to purchase curriculum, materials and technology to enhance and enrich learning in their classrooms.

Our SAGE program expresses appreciation for commitment to students during Teacher Appreciation Week while raising much-needed funds for our Teacher Grant Program. Our Teacher Grant Program is further funded by our Annual Open Doors Home and Garden Tour which will be held May 8th. Home Tour patrons enjoy a self guided tour of 5-7 gorgeous homes and gardens in the downtown, Harbor, Seacliff and South East communities of Huntington Beach as well as a delicious catered luncheon and shopping boutique at the HB Arts Center.

Our Key Community Support program is the “booster” program for our Home Tour, recognizing family support and school spirit from each of our 9 HBCSD schools with unique pages designated just for them in our Home Tour ticket brochure. The grand finale comes May 20th when we publicly honor and award our Educators of the Year and Scholar Squad as well as see the innovative impact our Teacher Grant Program has had within HBCSD classrooms.
